Fable was officially born late 2006 in Sherbrooke, Qc, Canada. Members of the band are the two brothers: Rem and Paco and long time friends: Vince, Mark and Jack. Each member have their own background & influences which gives Fable it’s incredible new rock sound. Things really started to get going late in 2008 for Fable as they were declared “Best New Band in Canada” by the GBOB Challenge (Global Battle of the Bands), which gave them the opportunity to perform at the World Finals in London, UK. Later on that year, they were chosen “Artist of the Month” @ Radio NRJ 106.1 in Sherbrooke, Qc. “We’re still young in this industry” claimed the 6 year old quintet. “We met a lot of people during these years and like it or not, it influenced our music a lot. You know, we all come from different musical backgrounds and when put all together, I say it sounds pretty good”. Indeed, when you listen to Fable’s music, there’s a lot to listen to. From Paco and Vince’s powerful vocal harmonies to Mark’s crazy guitar solos and Jack’s kick-ass bass lines over Rem’s energetic drum playing, Fable has a unique “in your face” sound that separates them from other rock-alternative bands. Fable was thrilled to launch “Critical View”, their first EP, on January 19th 2010. The EP includes their well known tracks such as “Footprints”, “Rolla Coasta” and “Workoholic”. In May 2011, John Nathaniel (who worked with Marie-Mai, Jack, Long Story Short, Eric Speed and many more), joined his spirit and expertise to Fable’s work by producing their new single “Killing Our Memories”. Over the years, their venues included places such as : Le Medley, Le Club Soda, Café Campus, Scala Bar(UK), Le Vieux Clocher de Sherbrooke, Le Vieux Clocher de Magog, La Traversée Internationale du Lac Memphrémagog, La Fête du lac des Nations, Les foufounes Électriques and much more which allowed them to expand their fan base. “We just want to thank everyone that supports our music and efforts. They are the true reason why we keep pushing our limits and extend our boundaries”.
